[complete] Untangling

You have no idea how satisfying it is to type “complete” in the title. It’s like that feeling when you hand in your last exam ever for university (except not quite, since then you spend days dreading the results).

This took me at least 30 hours Orz I’m not sure since I did it in about 3 hour blocks per night, but it’s taken me nearly all of two weeks Orz

Done mostly in SAI and mopped up in Photoshop. I LOVE SAI. I don’t think I’m ever going back to PS again for colouring >0< Unless in future PS makes Wacom integration more intuitive so that I don't have to re-customise opacity sensitivity every time I change brushes.

Edit: I haven’t looked at my original pencil drawing in so long. Gah. Why do I always like my pencil drawing version better. GAH.

The background is meant to be a bit leaden. I can't imagine Rossaer + sunny (oi).

Rossaer's hair still turned out redder than I wanted. I kinda wanted to draw him with actual black hair for once. I've kept the colours a bit more realistic in this picture but still turned out a bit more saturated than I was going for ;__;

I don't think I want to see my tablet again for a while…I've somehow managed to wear down another nib entirely because of this picture ||||Orz
